Interview:
PIRES!BACK FROM INJURY AND GUNNING FOR THE TITLE!
Being injured for six months is no fun,but it makes your comeback sweet, sweet, sweet!Arsenal's Robert Pires was in a great mood when MATCH met up with him.
>Your frist game back for Arsenla after injury was a apecially arranged friendly a few weeks ago,Bobi .how did that go?
''it was on a tuesday, and the coach organised the friendly game.it was Arsenal's reserve against QPR's reserve at the training ground, and i played for the frist time since March 23.For me it was very improtant to havesome competition again, even if it was the reserves. It was improtant to back on the pitch,to have the same feelingof playing football, and to once again have the collective spirit of the team.so i thought it went very very well.
>You scored in the game as well, didn't you?
''yes,we won 5-1 vand i was lucky enough to score the second goal.there you go-it was a sensation that i had lost a little over the 6 months i'd been injured. So i was really happy.''
