Robert was a revelation in his second season with the club. He scored 13 times in all competitions, including breathtaking strikes against Middlesbrough and Aston Villa, and he equalled the Premiership record for assists.
That record would surely have been broken had Robert not suffered a cruciate ligament injury against Newcastle which ended his season prematurely and ruled him out of the World Cup.
